Girls Cricket

Girls Can Play!

MLICC is committed to supporting our girls to play cricket. The 2019/2020 marked our first year with an all girls cricket team. We partnered with Bassendean Junior Cricket club to field an U15s and two U13s combined sides. This worthwhile partnership has provided both clubs with great success, with our u15 girls side taking home the flag for the 2020/2021 Perth Girls Scorchers League (North). Veronica Keen, a MLICC player was the Champion Player for the season - a great achievement.

We are aiming to building on this success in the 2021/2022 season and both clubs are focusing on getting teams up for the season.

This season we would like to field teams in the u13s, u15s and u18s girl's team  and all interested girls are encouraged to register with our club.

Please note:

  • Fees for the season will be posted soon
  • Season starts generally starts in October and finishes towards the end of March with a break in the middle (December)
  • The girl's competitions are an all-girls competition - this is not a mixed competition and we play on Saturday mornings (games take no more than 2 hours)
  • The rules for each competition are available from http://cjcc.wa.cricket.com.au/
  • All girls are welcome, so spread the word - Cricket is a fun and social game, so more the merrier!
